Next week is Kindness Week. Students will be practicing acts of kindness all week. This would be a great opportunity to talk to your child about practicing acts of kindness at home and in the community as well.
We are so excited to share that Walker students are about to see additions to the playground. Thanks to the Blue and You Foundation, students will have a new piece of equipment with climbing areas and a slide. Walker EAST students received a grant to supply trees for shade around the playground. Waker PTA has been raising funds for additional playground needs like swings and a pavilion. We hope you and your family will be able to take time to enjoy our playground equipment when school is not in session.

Springdale Schools now has an online payment option for school events. If you would like to sign up and pay for electronically for daddy/daughter dance, you can use the link below to do so. You may also return the pink form with payment to school.
Don't forget to order your child a Walker yearbook so they will have a keepsake of memories from this school year. Yearbooks can be ordered online and the link can be found in this newsletter.
