Congratulations to Josh Martin for becoming an Eagle Scout! Josh collected more than 3,000 items for Columbia County Cares for his Eagle Scout project.

On September 2nd, our cross country team competed at the AT&T Starr's Mill meet alongside 1,400 athletes from 39 schools. Liliana Beemer finished 8th for varsity girls and Glenn Graves finished 19th for varsity boys. Our varsity boys team finished 10th.

Tommy Murillo Bivins and Weston Evans tied for first place at the Inaugural Georgia Cyber Center STEMfest on September 13th! Four other EHS students placed in the top 10 at the event: Brailan Alexander, Jaden Crook, Jason King, and Ryan Kinkar.

All sophomores and any other students who previously registered and paid will take the PSAT at EHS on October 17th. Click here to learn more about the PSAT and access practice materials.

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors can take the ASVAB at EHS on October 20th. The test will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Learning Commons. You must register with Major Daversa in order to test. The ASVAB will be offered again in the spring, likely in March.

Parents, if you previously signed up to receive Google Classroom email summaries, you can receive the emails daily or weekly. Follow the directions below to change the frequency of the email summaries.

1. In your email program, at the bottom of any email summary, click Settings.
2. If you haven't already, sign in to your Google Account.
3. Under Frequency, click the down arrow and choose when to get summaries:
• Weekly
• Daily (Monday–Friday)
• No summaries
4. Under Timezone, click the down arrow select your time zone.

If you want to take a guest to our Homecoming Dance who does not attend EHS but attends a different Columbia County high school (Greenbrier, Grovetown, Harlem, or Lakeside), then this form must be returned to Ms. Pryor in the middle office by noon on October 4th. Please read the form for full details.
