Highlights from the Week
Valentine's Day Fun
Help from a Friend
One of Mr. Yearwood's friends, Mr. Couch, stopped by to help us repair our mopping machine. We are thankful for our friends with skills!
A Message from Uganda
Pastor Samuel Tucker brought by a special guest, Pastor Nathan, from Uganda to speak to lower school students at this week's chapel service.
Talented Student Leaders
Upper school student, Vella Richter, led morning devotion singing one day this week at both campuses with her beautiful voice and ukulele.
Daddy-Daughter Dance
📷When picture downloads are available, we will post a link.
Archery Team Tournament
🎯The team will be competing next at St. Bernard on February 23rd.
Cheers and Encouragement
Our youth cheerleaders started the day on Friday with a cheer for our Lions. We are so thankful for the work these girls have put in as they have worked to encourage each basketball team all season!
Art Enrichment
Students continue to enjoy learning more about classical art pieces, different forms of art, and getting their hands into the process during art classes each week. This is a great time for students to de-stress and grow their creativity.
Keeping the Beat
Mr. Yearwood tried his hand at keeping the beat on the cajon as students in guitar class worked on a new song. We are excited about how God will use the skills the students are learning. Who knows, we may have some worship leaders in the making!
Youth Basketball County Finals
The team played a tough game against an excellent Good Hope team. We are proud of all the players and cheerleaders who worked so hard this year.
Congratulations to the All-Tournament Players: Gavin Stidham, Kross Gambrill, Reid McGill, and MVP-Emmett Swindall.
Recognizing and Overcoming Indifference
Pastor John Richter spoke to upper school students this week in chapel about caring for others. In a world where we tend to look out for ourselves and seek power and popularity, it's easy to overlook the needs of others around us.
Tennis Season
The upper school tennis teams began practice this week. Players are learning more about the game and having fun. This is a great opportunity for them to stay active and learn a sport that can be played throughout life.
We Love Balloons
If there is an event coming up, you can bet that balloons are one of our favorite parts. If you were in the building on Friday, chances are you saw balloons spilling out of the office where Mrs. Candance, Mrs. Driver, and Mrs. Yearwood were getting ready to decorate for the Daddy-Daughter Dance.
