We had a fun time celebrating Red Ribbon week and thank you for donating food which will directly impact families in our local community. Also, a huge shout out to our counseling team. Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Fischer organized all the great events this week, including a visit from Deputy Ramos and K9 Abbie.

This week, Dental3 will continue to serve our students. If you have any questions about this service for your child, please call our school office.

Please always have your photo identification (ID) ready when picking up your child from school. At times, staff are absent for a variety of reasons, and we want to ensure your child is placed with the right person. Thank you for your understanding.

On Monday October 31st, Students can wear their costumes to school. There needs to be NO blood, weapons, face paint, or super scary masks. Students need to wear shoes to be able to participate in recess and PE and they need to be able to use the restroom without support. Any costume that is deemed disruptive to the learning process will need to be changed.

In order to help you all know what the week looks like, we will begin listing it out clearly for you each week. REID days for are invited students and will change each week. Students are invited to REID days for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's to extend or challenge a student, and other times it might be to provide extra help on a particular skill. On those days, our doors open at 7:50 and dismissal is at 10:00am. If you have questions about this week's schedule, please let. us know!

We have a number of students who are arriving at school late each day. We really emphasize the importance of coming to school each day and on time to establish routine, consistency, and we don't want your child to miss important social and academic items that are so valuable to their school success. If there is a specific circumstance causing this for your family, please let us know so we can support you. Thank you.

It is important to us that all our students have what they need in regard to technology. We rely on technology on a consistent basis in the classroom. If you happen to have a device or charger at home from last school year, please send it back to school with your child as soon as possible. Thank you.

We know that weather can sometimes be unpredictable in Oregon and at times, students may need to access their learning from home for the day if we need to close school. In order for us to be prepared to best support you and your child, please take a couple minutes to fill out this technology survey so we can get you connected with the right items. Thank you!

Each month we choose to focus on one of our Standards of Excellence. Through this, we teach our students what it means to display these characteristics. Then we recognize members of our school community for exemplifying the trait. All of these help us to reach our school district's long term mission of equipping our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be resourceful and successful.
