Superintendent Search Update - At its June 22 meeting, the PUSD Board of Education named Dr. Donald Evans the District's Interim Superintendent for the 2022-23 school year. Dr. Evans will serve in the role through June 30, 2023. Over the summer and fall, the Board will select a search firm to coordinate the process for selecting PUSD's next Superintendent. Stakeholder meetings will take place in the fall to gather input from students, staff, families and the community. The Superintendent position will be posted in the winter with interviews to take place in the winter/spring. PUSD's next Superintendent will be named in the spring and will assume their new position on July 1, 2023.
New Bell Schedules for 2022-23 School Year - In accordance with California Senate Bill 328, high schools will be expected to start no earlier than 8:30am and middle schools no earlier than 8:00am beginning with the 2022-23 school year. Starting on the first day of school August 10, Piedmont/Millennium High Schools and Piedmont Middle School will operate under new bell schedules. Read more information here.

Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) - At its June 22 meeting, the PUSD Board of Education approved and adopted the second reading of the District's LCAP, describing the district’s annual goals and specific actions to address state and local priorities to support outcomes for all students and student groups. Summer Activities - The Piedmont Recreation Department has a number of summer camps and activities for children of all ages. Read more information here.
Piedmont Adult School Summer Classes - Registration for summer classes at the Piedmont Adult School is ongoing. The Adult School also offers a free High School Diploma Program to fit the needs of adults at all stages of life.
