November Newsletter
November 2022
Dear Eatonville School District Families, Staff and Community,
November allows us to share our gratitude to those around us. We are thankful to our families, community members and partnerships that allow our students to thrive.
There were a variety of events during the month of October. We kicked off the month by resuming volunteers in all of our school buildings. We have enjoyed the return of our helpful volunteers. Your time and dedication make a difference and impact. I was pleased and encouraged by the number of attendees at our Community Conversation Event that was held on October 12th. As an administrative team, we are working to use the input gathered to assist in future planning. The month ended with conference week. I am thankful for the time, energy and effort our teachers and parents put forth during conference week. Partnering together, we can ensure all students are able to reach their full potential.
Included in the newsletter below, please find information regarding Native American Heritage Month, upcoming events and calendar information. As the weather begins to feel more fall-like, we will be releasing our Inclement Weather newsletter in the coming days. The newsletter will provide information for readers to sign up for delay and cancellation notifications as well as school district expectations during closures.
Be sure to take some time for yourself and your family this month.
Thankfully,
Gary Neal
Superintendent
GRITS Farm
During October, we practiced our drama production of the story book, "The Little Old Lady that wasn't afraid of anything". Students performed this for all our Preschool and Kindergarten classes. All students were able to pick out one of our pumpkins that was grown on the farm to take home.

Bus Route Information
Push Notifications for Route Impacts
This year, we will not send robocalls when bus routes are canceled. Instead, we are encouraging families to sign up for Ride 360 to receive push notifications when routes are impacted. Additionally, families may view the status of each bus route on our website at any time as it is updated daily. Finally, an email will be sent to families when a route is impacted.
Unfortunately, we do not have any substitute bus drivers and will need to cancel routes when a driver is out. If you or someone you know would like to apply to become a driver please visit our website for information.
- 22-23 route information is available on Ride360. This is the best way to learn if your child's route will be impacted.
- Register for Ride360 today on the website.
- When you register you will need your student’s 7 digit Student ID number that typically begins with 2 zeros. Please access Skyward Family Access for your child’s ID number.
- Once you've registered on the site you may download the app. Traversa Ride 360™ is a mobile app for Apple® and Android® devices.
- You can expect to receive direct messages regarding changes, delays and notifications specific to your child's route and stop. You may also directly message the Eatonville School District Transportation Office.
