All Gayman students will be receiving a device during the first week of school. Students will receive instructions on how to set up their device at home. More information can be found on the Technology & Innovation webpage: 1 to 1 Information for 2021-2022.

When you log into My Payments Plus to pay for your child's $10 Central Bucks School District 1:1 Laptop Agreement fee, you will see these additional items listed:

Central School District 1:1 Replacement Charger Gayman $35

Central School District 1:1 Replacement Laptop Pen Gayman $37

You do not have to pay for these items. They are listed under your child's name in the event that a pen or charger is lost during the course of the school year and a replacement needs to be purchased. For anyone who mistakenly paid for one or both of these items, please contact Christine Stevens in the Gayman Main Office.

The Central Bucks School District is changing the way student absences are reported. Now, parents and guardians are able to submit an absence request via the Parent Portal.

When a student is absent from school, but the school did not receive communication from the parent or guardian, the following communication will be sent:

• A text message will be sent mid-morning notifying the parent or guardian of the absence.
• An email will also be sent at the end of the school day reminding the parent or guardian that the student was marked absent.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service extended the program that will provide free meals for all students, regardless of income, for the 2021-22 school year. All menus are available to be viewed online up to 2 weeks in advance by visiting Gayman Elementary | Central Bucks School District (nutrislice.com)

Students are entitled to one reimbursable breakfast and one lunch per day.

As in previous years, many Gayman classrooms have students with peanut/nut allergies. Those classrooms will be identified as peanut/nut safe rooms. Please keep an eye out for additional information from your child's teacher regarding the impact of being a part of a peanut/nut safe classroom. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our certified school nurse, Mrs. Sara Hedges at shedges@cbsd.org.

The state of Pennsylvania requires students in certain grades to have health exams.

• Kindergarten and New students: Dental and Physical Exams
• Grades 3 and 7: Dental Exam
• Grades 6 and 11: Physical Exam

The dental and physical forms can be found HERE. The exams must be completed after 9/1/2020. The completed health forms are due to Mrs. Sara Hedges, our school nurse, no later than October 15, 2021. You can upload your completed exam forms to your child's Parent Portal account. Please keep a copy of the health forms for your records.
