Fall Conferences
Fall Conferences this year will be offered in-person and the schedule is as follows:
Thursday, October 19th from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Friday, October 20th from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
If you haven't signed up for a conference time yet, please refer to the email that was sent out on Monday, September 25th -- it contains the link to schedule your student(s) conference.
If you would like to schedule a conference with any of your child's specials teachers (PE, art, music, etc.), please reach out to that teacher individually to schedule a time to meet.
**Please note that these are student involved conferences, so your child must attend with you.**
Half Day Transportation Changes
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
All transportation changes must be emailed or called in to the office by 9:00 am on the half day.
This will ensure that the office has time to communicate the changes to your student before dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation!

Donation Drive - So Close to the Goal!
We are getting so close to hitting our goal.
Please remember to send in your $50/student donation to help support all the hard work PTO does for our staff and students. You may send in check, cash, or use the paypal link below. If you choose the PayPal option, please return the puple slip to the school office for tracking purposes.

Spook Spectacular - Saturday October 28th!
๐ Spook Spectacular is ONE month away! ๐
Raffle Tickets:
Raffle tickets are being returned and we are tracking our top sellers! All students can start selling now - it is not too late! Raffle permission slips are in the office.
Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers for Spook. No time donated is too big or too small! You can volunteer with setup/tear down, kitchen, games, etc. Please reach out to newby31@gmail.com to get involved.
Students:
Start thinking about your costumes! You will be able to wear your costume to school on Friday AND to Spook on Saturday. And, start thinking about how you would like to decorate your pumpkin, if you want to participate in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Dunalp Valley Middle School's "Valley Fall Fest"
This event is open to the elementary school students who will be a Dunlap Valley Spartan in the future. Wilder-Waite Grade School, Dunlap Grade School and Ridgeview Elementary students - this event is for YOU!

What's For Lunch?
Tuesday 10/3: Grilled cheese, tomato soup, celery sticks, assorted fruit, Jonny Pop, milk
Wednesday 10/4: Spaghetti with beef sauce, breadstick, green beans, assorted fruit, milk
Thursday 10/5: Chicken and waffles, mixed vegetables, assorted fruit, milk
Friday 10/6: Bosco sticks, corn, side salad, assorted fruit, milk
ADDITIONAL LUNCH OPTIONS
1. Vegetarian: Chef Garden Salad
2. Wowbutter and Jelly Sandwich with Cheese Stick
3. Vegan: Chocolate Chickpea Spread on Whole Grain Flatbread
Please have your student inform their teacher every morning of their lunch choice.
Milk is available for purchase for a la carte for $0.45.

Dunlap Travel Basketball Tryouts - This Sunday 10/1
Dunlap Cheer Clinic
The DHS Cheer Clinic is coming up and we would really appreciate it if you could send the following message out to the families in your district!
DHS Cheer will be hosting an elementary cheer clinic for grades K-5th at Hickory Grove Elementary School on October 5th from 4:30-6:00
Participants will then perform the material they learn at the Varsity football game on Friday, October 6th, which is the same night as JFL Night!
Sign up by September 22nd to receive a t-shirt! You can use the link below to register!
If you sign up after the 22nd, t-shirts are NOT guaranteed.
When: October 5th from 4:30-6:00
Where: Hickory Grove Elementary School
