Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
We only have school Monday and Tuesday and the rest of the week is meant for you to spend with family and friends.
We will have our stay-indoors safety response drill this week. Students and staff will practice the proper procedures for this type of drill.
This is a reminder of the attendance policy for all students as we head into winter illnesses. Each year every student is entitled to 10 parent calls. You may use these at your discretion for illness, travel, etc. Any time you take your child to the doctor please send in a doctor's note. An absence excused by a doctor does not count as one of your ten parent calls. Once you use your 10 parent calls you will need to provide a doctor's note or have a nurse excused absence. When your child is absent please call the office or email Mrs. Dunn (cdunn@culpeperschools.org) and she will properly record the absence in Power School.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
