A huge thank you to our parent volunteers who covered classes this past Friday so our staff could enjoy an extended breakfast treat! We cannot thank you enough.
For planning purposes, attached below is our "Student and Staff Holiday Spirit Week." We hope you will participate during the last week before winter break 12/18-12/21.

- Chorus Performance @6:00pm
- DONUTS WITH DOGS @8:00am. We are so excited to see all of our DOGS and kick off the program! Please remember to bring ID so you can be scanned in at the office before heading to the library - thank you!
Wednesday 12/13
- Chorus 2:30-3:30pm
- 1st & 2nd Garden Club 2:30-4:00pm
- 3-5 Garden Club 2:30-4:00pm
Thursday 12/14
- 2nd Grade Holiday Performance @6:00pm in the cafeterai
Friday 12/15
- 2nd Grade Encore Performance @9:00am in the cafeteria
- Last day to check "Lost & Found!"
IMPORTANT INFORMATION/SAVE THE DATES
Fresh fruit carts for students/teachers/staff to enjoy will be out in the cafeteria. The fruit is not part of the school meal, no purchase from the cafeteria is necessary. This is through a local food purchasing assistance grant to provide fresh produce to communities. The grant was awarded to Lulu's Local Foods/ The Center for Rural Culture. The farms may vary from time to time but the current apples/pears are from Agriberry Farm in Hanover. We will receive weekly deliveries. If we run out next week, I will up the orders until I get it right. Enjoy!
- ANGEL TREE SUPPORT: You can sign up here to donate wrapping paper and tape to our families in need: DONATE WRAPPING PAPER/TAPE. Please send in items at your convenience but no later than Friday, December 15th. In addition, if you would like to sponsor a student at RES, please stop by the main office and take an angel! All gifts are due December 15th, unwrapped. Please include the angel tag with the gift. We appreciate you!

All Things PTA
Thank you for all the support shown to the PTA during the 1st half of the school year! We had a successful Stock The Lounge event, Chic Fil A Spirit Day, PTA meeting, supported the Goochland Christmas Mother, and had a great turn out to the APEX obstacle course! We appreciate you!
