Principal's Message
Dear Niton Central School Community,
It is hard to believe that this week welcomes us to March. This is a short week with Friday being a non-student day and staff Professional Growth day.
JK and Kindergarten registration for the fall is now open. Information is available on our website.
GYPSD has sent out the required SNAP CODES to register students for next year. This would have been sent to the email we have on file for you. Please complete the online registration when you receive your code, as it helps plan staffing and programming for this upcoming year. Please let Mrs. Benson know if you have not received your code.
Grade 4 through 9 parents will be receiving information soon, regarding the Educational Assurance Survey (EAS). It is very important that we get as many surveys completed as possible as these help guide our school goals and support our students. The information you will receive should provide you with information to help guide you through the process. If you need any further assistance or have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to help you.
Have a good week!

UPDATED Covid-19 Information
Please find links to the latest updates on Covid 19. On February 26, Premier Kenny announced changes coming March 1 as Alberta enters stage 2 of its re-entry plan. These links as well as more information will be updated as it becomes available.
Winter is here...
Please ensure your student is dressed for the outside weather. Some students may need an extra pair of socks and mitts in case they become wet. Grades K - 6 students go outside three times per day until the temperature (including windchill) reaches -20 C. We always include the windchill when we are gaging the temperature.
