Message from Principal Zimmerman
Hello Lincoln Families,
Thank you to all of our families for your support during conferences this fall. We had an amazing number of families attend conferences in October. As a staff, we value strong relationships between home and school, as we know that this connection supports student learning and our entire school community. In addition to attending conferences, we encourage families to consider attending one of the Lincoln PTO meetings, as another way to strengthen the home-school relationship. These meetings occur on the second Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM.
On Friday, October 27, Lincoln students had the opportunity to walk in Anoka Halloween’s “Big Parade of Little People”. This is a long standing Anoka tradition, and we are fortunate to have the chance to participate in this fun event every year!
We are looking forward to our first “Arts Jam” day on November 21. This all-school event allows students the opportunity to participate in a variety of arts activities of their choosing, in sessions led by our amazing staff! It’s always such a fun day for everyone!
There are amazing things happening at Lincoln. All of the teachers and staff are working hard to help your children feel valued, safe and successful at school. With your support, we will continue to do great things for every student at Lincoln!
Michelle Zimmerman
Principal, Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts

New for the 2023-24 school year, elementary school report cards will be available online and will no longer be sent through postal mail or student’s backpacks. Families will be able to access report cards by logging into A-HConnect or viewing it on the ParentVUE mobile app.
The switch to online report cards means that information is available to review at the conclusion of each trimester. Schools will notify families when the report cards are available to view. Student Pick Up
If families need to pick up their student(s) early from school, they need to enter Door 1. ALL individuals will need to have their license available to check out a student. Students will not be called down prior to a parent/guardian checking them out. Please allow enough time as sometimes students are not in their classrooms and need to be located and then sent to the office. Also, all early pickups should happen prior to 3:15 as the end of the day is very busy in the classrooms and office.
