Calendar Reminders
December 17th - SIP Day
Next Friday, December 17th is a scheduled SIP Day in District 41. On eight SIP Days throughout the year, students in 1st through 8th grade will have early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. to allow time for building staff members to work on school improvement activities. Kindergarten students will not attend school on SIP Days. For the December 17th SIP Day, AM Pre-K students WILL attend school 8:15 a.m - 10:45 a.m at Forest Glen. Winter Break Dates
District 41 Winter Break begins on Monday, December 20, and goes through Friday, December 31. All school buildings will be closed during this time. School will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022.
COVID-19 Dashboard
The District 41 COVID Dashboard is a way for the public to monitor both the number of positive covid cases reported for students and staff as well as the number of people quarantined in the district due to close contact with someone who has tested positive. The dashboard will be updated every Monday by the end of the day.
Winter Weather Communications
Every winter District schools face the possibility of school building closures due to inclement weather. In the event that schools need to close for the day, District 41 will communicate the weather-related closure to families and staff as early as possible. School closures due to weather will be communicated in the following ways:
Email, robo call and text message (To sign up, CLICK HERE)
PLEASE NOTE: A decision for e-learning due to weather would be communicated to students and families that day as well.
December Concerts
The District 41 Music Department December performances are ongoing. This year you can watch the concerts in real time via livestream. See the web address below for the concerts you want to watch live. For more details regarding the Hadley concerts CLICK HERE. Space is limited due to Covid restrictions. Each musician may invite 2 guests. The concerts are not open to the public for in-person viewing.

Vaccination Clinics for Kids 5-11
The DuPage County Health Department is offering pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5-11. Click here to register and you will be notified via email for an appointment. DCHD recommends residents interested in pediatric or adult COVID-19 vaccinations visit www.vaccines.gov to find the earliest available appointment nearest to your home. Additional vaccination opportunities for individuals aged 12+ are also available from DCHD at the Central Office in Wheaton on Thursdays from 8:30 am - 10:30 am. Please register here and you will be notified via email with instructions on how to schedule your appointment.

District 41 Presents Toilet Training Toddlers with Carol Segal
Carol Segal is the founder of the Bambini Method. Carol has taken her two decades of experience as an educator and mentor, and created the Bambini Method to support parents on important developmental milestones including toilet training. Join us via Zoom at 5.30 p.m. on December 15, where Carol will share her tips and tricks to successful toilet training.
