We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
At the State of the School Address this past Monday evening, I spoke about a ruler I've kept on my desk since I arrived at Father Doyle School. Emblazoned on the front is the slogan "Father Doyle School - A School You Can Believe In." It's a simple statement - brief in length but rich in meaning.
Each morning I walk through the front doors of the school, that's the goal: create a school community that we can all believe in. A school community where every child, every family, is known, valued, and treasured - their gifts celebrated and their challenges met. A school community in which every person who walks these halls is committed to forming both saints and scholars. Undoubtedly, there are days and situations when we fall short of this lofty goal. Yet, I pray that, over the past several years, Father Doyle has provided you more reasons than not to truly believe in our mission, in our vision, and in the Catholic education we provide each day.
Thank you for your continued support and for entrusting your children to our school. Please note, you can find the full State of the School Address presentation here. In addition, at the State of the School Address, we released our 2023 End of Year Survey for Parents & Families. Click the link to access the survey. You can also find the survey linked below. Please know, as discussed, all survey results are carefully reviewed and analyzed as a catalyst to real change, as demonstrated by the results of our Fall Parent Survey.
A Note Regarding Financial Aid Applications
Please note, for those families that applied for financial assistance for the 2023-2024 school year, aid notifications are being sent by postal service today, Friday, May 26th. If your aid application was incomplete or there are other concerns with your application, the school will be in communication via phone in the coming week.
Please be sure to continue reading for important updates and information for the coming weeks!
