What's Up At The Nest...

Principal's Message

Dear OMS Families,

In our March 4th Branch we posted "Spring is just around the corner"! Boy were we wrong! It was rainy outdoors, but cozy indoors at the nest this week! We look forward to sunshine and spring in the near future (fingers crossed). Please continue to dress your children in layers with our unpredictable weather. With our 40 minute lunch recess fingers get pretty cold without gloves or mittens.

2022-2023 Parent PLACEMENT Input

At OMS, the student placement process for the upcoming school year is taken very seriously. Each spring, our teachers engage in a collaborative process to create healthy learning groups based on several factors. We ask that you trust our teaching staff in this process.

If you feel there is information that would not otherwise be considered in our student placement process, you will find an OPTIONAL form that you may fill out below. Please know that the placement process for all OMS students is extensive and considers many factors. PLEASE DO NOT NAME SPECIFIC TEACHERS ON THIS FORM AS WE CANNOT HONOR SPECIFIC REQUESTS. We appreciate your understanding and support.

THIS FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT EACH YEAR. We believe that students learn, grow, and mature therefore previous years requests are not considered.

Our student council has planned an upcoming SPIRIT WEEK for all students. This is completely optional for students that would like to participate.

Friday, April 22 - Pajama Day or Earth Day Colors

Field Day Rain Date Change

Field Day will still be on Thursday, May 26th; however due to a conflict with Greens Park our rain date is now Wednesday, June 1st.
