Dear Wiggin Street Families,
As mentioned in a previous update, the Wiggin Street Peer Mediation Program was highlighted in the February MVCSD Board Meeting. Keaton and Delaney Newell did a fabulous job sharing about their leadership role as Peer Mediators. Also, we truly appreciate all of the hard work Mrs. Carlson has put into the program to make it successful this year. You can view Wiggin Street's portion of the meeting here.
Following the board meeting, we were contacted by Grant Richey from Knox Pages who was interested in visiting our playground, seeing our Peer Mediators in action, and writing an article which can be found here. It was a beautiful spring-like day and Kenyon soccer players were visiting for a Math-a-thon reward. We appreciated his visit and article.
We are very excited to watch our K-2 students when they present their Spring Musicals next Monday, March 6th! Please pay close attention to the times listed for each grade level's arrival in the flyer below. Thank you Mrs. Springer for your efforts which we know will be evident by the students' preparedness and superb performance which will be held at Rosse Hall, Kenyon College.
Lastly, I want to draw your attention to the Upcoming Events Calendar and the 2-hour delayed start that will take place Monday, March 27th. That is the same day as our Student Leadership Team Meeting, so we will meet at 10:40 that morning in the library.
