Morning Meetings
Gaston County Schools has added a wonderful new routine to your child’s school day! It’s called Morning Meeting and it’s a great way to build community, set a positive tone, increase excitement about learning, and improve academic and social skills.
Morning Meeting usually takes about fifteen minutes. Students begin by greeting each other whether in-person or on remote days. Every student hears his or her name spoken in a friendly and cheerful manner.
All students will meet with their class virtually on Wednesday mornings for Morning Meeting. Please contact your child's teacher for the time and Google Meet link.
Chromebook Reminders
- The school will provide a Chromebook for each student.
- Students will need their Chromebooks for Face-to-Face instruction and Remote Learning.
- Students will need to bring their Chromebooks fully charged on their Face-to-Face days.
