A Message From The Principal
Dear Christ the King School Families,
Yay - we completed our first full week at the school, and thankfully the weather was much cooler than last week!!
We began our Monday on a somber note as we were asked to remember, on the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, the ones we lost, and as we gathered on Wednesday morning, Father Justin offered Holy Mass for the victims of that day. As I listened to the choir lead us in singing "America the Beautiful," my heart was filled with love and hope, reflected in the voices of our community. Additionally, I witnessed the Buddy Program, specifically the 5th graders sitting with their kindergarten buddies and the 4th graders sitting with the first graders at Holy Mass, modeling Holy Mass etiquette and honing leadership skills.
Although a week filled with meetings, paperwork, and a variety of other official duties, I was able to observe students in Mr. V.'s music class for a short period of time. Many students received their instrument of choice, happily assembling the new parts into lifelong friends.
I am eager to visit more classrooms in the coming weeks, and I will be sharing what I’ve learned in the next few newsletters.
Again, please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or issues.
In Christ,
Kelley Alderman

- Build Connections: PTO events provide opportunities to connect with fellow parents and teachers, fostering relationships and addressing important topics.
- Share Insights: Share your ideas, concerns, and experiences with the community, promoting open dialogue.
- Volunteer Impact: Contribute your skills and interests to support valuable initiatives.
