On the Horizon
VUHS January 12th, 2024
Principal Message
We made it through semester 1! I hope that everyone was safe during the winter weather we had on Sunday.
Students you can now sign up for the Commodore Council. We will start off by meeting weekly in my office during block 6 on Thursdays. You can sign up in Adaptive Scheduler. Once the group is running if we need to meet more often or switch it to every other week we can. This is open for all students who are interested in making a change at VUHS. This group of students will work with Jody to look at out systems and structures. You are also welcome to attend the first couple of meetings without committing to the long term if you just want to find out more.
Some events that are coming up in the next few weeks are:
- 1/15: MLK Day - No School
- 1/16: Inservice Day - No School for students
- 1/17: Semester 2 starts
- 2/19: February Break
