Our Valentine's celebrations will take place on Monday, February 14th from 1:15-2:15pm. Only non-food items may be shared. We will host an alternate activity for any students who choose not to celebrate. Thank you to our wonderful PTA volunteers assisting our classrooms with the festivities.

The end of Trimester 2 is Friday, February 25th. Please take a few moments to log-in parent portal and encourage your child to attend to any missing work or needed retests in the weeks ahead. Report cards will be posted on Friday, March 4th.

We are so proud of our Bulldogs for their hard work during e-learning days. Day 5 and Day 6 packets will be sent home soon in the event we have any future e-learning days. Please take a moment to review our e-learning procedures.

• Place the packet it a safe place to only be worked on during an e-learning day. If you do not receive or need an additional copy, please reach out to your child's teacher.
• Students must complete and turn in the assigned work the next school day in order to be counted present.
• Once the district has determined an e-learning day, staff will communicate with their families from 8:30-9:00am the schedule of the day and how to contact them for assistance with completing work, including their Zoom link. They will also attach to the communication an electronic copy of the packet.
• Students are to log-in to Zoom at 9am and are scheduled to be working on their assignments from 9:00-11:30am and from 12:15-3:15pm. Teachers are available by Zoom and email to provide assistance from 9:00-11:30am and 12:15-2:15pm.

Invites have gone out for the very first meeting of our principal's advisory committee taking place next week. We are excited to offer this opportunity to grow stronger partnerships between school and home, including families and their voice in the work of school improvement efforts. We had such a wonderful response and we want to thank everyone who volunteered to be a part of this committee. If you are interested or have questions, feel free to contact Principal Schnoor.

OLSAT (4th Grade ONLY): Our 4th grade students will be taking the OLSAT on Thursday, February 17th. The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test is an ability test that is designed to measure abstract thinking and reasoning. The results of the test are an additional data point (one of many) that is used to consider placement in our enrichment or accelerated programming.
