Create A Vision
"The best way to predict the future is to create it" ~ Abraham Lincoln
For any social change to occur, you must be able to see a vision that depicts the change. A vision must be your intentions for a better future and must:
- Be understood so others can share in the vision.
- Empower and engage people to want to take action.
- Be well defined and articulated.
- Be vivid, engaging, and expressive.
The first step in engaging a collective action in your vision for change is for you to know what it is that you would like to change. What underlying issues are you trying to address? This describes the work of Communities of Excellence.

We love the hometown feels that Excelsior Springs gives, everyone is so kind & caring of others, We love the growth of our town & how beautiful it has always been. And of course our Tiger football, GO TIGERS! Our children play every Parks/Rec sport you could think of, along with being involved in the fun summer activities for the littles, ESFA football & cheer.
