We are getting closer...
This week we are very excited that Mrs. Veronica Chappell will be starting as our new Administrative Assistant and Business Manager. She will be training the first two days and then she will be happy to tackle tuition and registration items and answering any questions.
We are excited to have the freshmen class of Hobart and William Smith Colleges visiting us this Wednesday as part of their orientation. They will be busy moving the library and Pre-K rooms, cleaning/dusting, organizing and sorting items.
We love our partnership with the college. This year we are hosting one student teacher and two teachers who will serving as assistants for their education internships. Also, one of these students will be acting as our librarian. This is a great benefit for our school and the college student.
In the coming weeks, we are trying to discover volunteer interest. It is vital that we have a strong volunteer base consisting not only of community members, but also our school families. Many hands make for light work and we all have gifts of talent and time we can share to make our school better and engaging. We hope to have a list of volunteer needs next week.
Uniforms, Supply Lists, and more.
You can find the class supply lists here as well. We do have a table outside Mrs. Liberatore's office of donated supplies available for all our families, please do not hesitate to take these items to complete your child's list. Before and After School Care
Thank you to those interested in our before or after school care. If your child/ren is/are interested in attending, please send Suzanne Pohorence or Veronica Chappell an email so, we can just have an idea for staffing.
The fee for before school/early drop off is $5 per child per day. Mrs. Yolanda Iannopollo is monitor those students. Early drop off is between 7 am and 8 am. Those being dropped off early should enter the side door with the buzzer. Families are billed the first of the month for pervious month use.
Regular morning arrival time is between 8 am and 8:15 am. Students arriving at this time may enter the High Street Playground Door or the Elmwood Ave Door. Kindergartens may enter the side door of their classroom. We have staff supervising those doors. School starts promptly at 8:15 am with prayer. Students arriving after 8:15 am are considered tardy.
After school care is available from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The fee is $15 per child per day with a $250 maximum per family each month. Families are billed the first of the month for pervious month use. The program is structured with play time, homework time, games/puzzles, and arts/crafts. Parents using this program will be given a way to contact the monitor that they have arrive and are ready to pick up their child.
