Testing Information
Retake Testing
Starting this week, we will begin retake testing. Students in 11th & 12th grade that have NOT met the Reading test requirement for graduation will be tested on 11/28 - 11/30. Algebra retakes will be given 11/30 - 12/5 for all grades that have NOT met the Algebra requirement for graduation and are NOT currently taking an Algebra course. Students that need to sit for the Geometry, Biology, or US History EOC tests will be tested on 12/6 and 12/7. Only students that have already completed those courses and did not sit for the Geo, Bio, or USH test in the previous year will be tested.
FAST PM 2 Test Scheduled for 1/18
Mark your calendars on January 18th ALL 9th & 10th grade students will take the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (F.A.S.T.) Progress Monitoring 2 (PM2) Test. Click on the link below to view sample test materials for Grade 9 FAST ELA Reading, Grade 10 FAST ELA Reading, BEST Algebra 1 EOC, BEST Geometry EOC, Biology EOC, or US History EOC.

Algebra Boot Camp Continues This Week
If you would like your student to participate, complete this Algebra Boot Camp Google Form.
Algebra EOC Retake Prep Continues This Week
This week our Algebra team will continue to hold a special focused tutorial session dedicated to helping students practice the skills they need to pass the Algebra End of Course exam. This is specifically for students who are NOT currently in Algebra class but NEED to pass the Algebra EOC.
Tutorials will be held after school from 3-5 pm Mondays and Wednesdays for the next 3 weeks (11/27, 11/29, 12/4 & 12/6). Students sign in at the media center after school. Snacks are provided and activity buses are available.

Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed to assist with activities at the Lake Park Library. They offer a Homework Club (Mon-Thurs from 3:30pm - 5pm), a Chess Club (Fridays from 2:45pm - 4pm), and an Enrichment Club (Saturdays from 10:30am-12pm) for elementary and middle school students. They are looking for high school students to volunteer and help with tutoring, games, companionship. Email Brande Maury if you are interested in volunteering.
