Message from the Principal
Happy Friday Findley Families,
As the weather is getting colder and wetter we will be transitioning to inside lunch. The plan is to start Monday. Nov. 29, the day we return from Fall Break. Students will be eating inside in what has been our Tech/Media lab. This is a space that has previously been a grade level pod. Students will sit 6 ft. apart, on assigned sit spots. Students who bring their own lunch to school will have the option of a tray to set their lunch on if they choose. Trays will be cleaned between grade level lunches. If you have signed up for lunch duty, we still need you! We will be swapping cleaning tables for trays.
In other, but semi-related, news, students will be allowed to play in any Recess Zone they choose beginning Monday, Nov. 8. We know students are super excited about this and we are working to set them up for success on the playground!
Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you to our Veteran's! We appreciate your sacrifice and service for our country.
I hope everyone has a good weekend~
Sherry Marsh, Ed.D.
Principal
Message from the office
If you have not brought medication to the office and your student has an allergy, asthma or other medical need that requires medication of any kind, please be sure to bring that to us ASAP.
Students should NEVER bring medication to school in their backpack. All medications must be logged into the office by the parent. We are required to ask for the original container with the suggested dosage on it. Any change from the dosage for a students age must be submitted with a doctors prescription. We are not allowed to alter what the dosage on a container says.
You can find information regarding medications on the district website by clicking here
