A Note About Today's Events
DPS 109 families,
As a father, I know that receiving communications about lockdowns and having your children experience them are unnerving. We take the education and safety of your children incredibly seriously, and we are thankful that none of our students were in harm’s way today. We know as well that children may have different reactions to situations like these.
If you believe your child may need extra support or have any concerns about the impact of hearing about today’s events, please let your child’s teacher or building principal know.
Sincerely,
Michael V. Simeck
