Tiger Feedback
January 26, 2024
Park Family,
As we head full force into February, it is always good to remind ourselves of the standard that we are striving to meet each and every day. As The Park Family and an educational entity, our standard is excellence.
We strive for excellence individually and collectively. There are many elements that impact student learning and success. In the variables that WE CAN CONTROL, we want to be excellent.
If a student is not coming to school, we want to be excellent on our end to help this Tiger. Are we calling home? Are we asking classmates? Are we completing the Tiger Service Form?
Shortly, all Teachers will be receiving the grade distribution report for Marking Period 2. For students that have a C- (it is a "D" on the form) and/or failed, are we doing our part up to our standard of excellence? Have we attempted to develop a positive relationship with that student? Are we addressing the situation in the classroom? Are we calling home? If the student is refusing to work, are we writing a referral? Am I seeking support from my colleagues?
For student safety, are we closing and locking our doors? Are we at our doors and assigned supervision spots?
For Team Planning, do I contribute and take care of my responsibility with professionalism? Can my team count on me? How is my attendance? How is my communication?
The Park Way outlines our vision, mission, motto, honor code, core values, and attributes. The Park Way is our standard of excellence. This is meant to be lived out, daily, in real life. Let us be found faithful in striving for excellence for our Tigers and our Park Family!
Rise Up!

Below is the comparison of our Grade Distribution Report for the campus:
- Marking Period ---------------- A ----------- B --------- C----------- D(C-) ------------ F
- -----------1st------------------------ 42% ---------31%------ 11%------- 11%-------------- 6%
- -----------2nd----------------------- 40% ---------31%------ 11%--------10%-------------- 7%
Teachers, as your reflect on your own Grade Distribution Report, this will provide you with some context. As you can see, as a campus we are meeting our goal of less than 10% F's and less than 20% D and F combined.
