Dear Families - Read on for the News

Due May 31 for Every Student - Please Read Carefully

All new and returning families must complete an enrollment registration form for EACH student by May 31. The completed registration forms will reserve your students' seats for the coming school year and were emailed to families on May 12. You can find the form here. The registration form should not be confused with the Intent to Return form completed in February. Intent to Returns help us know how many seats we have available in the March lottery.

Please understand that we are funded based on enrollment and we receive new applications all summer long. If we do not receive a registration form for your student this spring, we reserve the right to offer your student's seat to the next family on the waitlist or a new applicant.

If you have multiple students, you must select 'I am completing the first form of the year' for one of your students or you will be required to complete the form again.

The signature section at the end of the form requires that you both select a box AND type your name. If you have completed the form but didn't type your name, please edit your response by May 31.

Breakfast Survey - Please Complete

Palouse Prairie Charter School is looking into bringing a "grab and go" breakfast system to the school. Breakfast would include items such as fruit, cereal, muffins, breakfast bars, etc. Breakfast cost would be $2.85 for full price and $0.30 reduced price. Please complete this survey so we can make an informed decision about breakfast at Palouse Prairie Charter School.

Playground Work Party June 3

We will be having a playground work party on June 3rd from 1-4 PM. We will be doing the finishing touches on our new play areas. Come with wheel barrows, shovels, and gloves if you have them. Please RSVP here.

AR's, IRI's & ISAT's

IRI's and ISAT's will be mailed out by June 16. If your address has recently changed, you can email the office to update it.

Your student's achievement report will be accessible through Jump Rope. Final grades will be available in the parent portal soon. If you don't have access to Jump Rope, please contact the office.

Gallery Night

Save the date for Gallery Night, June 1st at 6PM. Come celebrate your students and the work they have accomplished over the year!

End of the Year Information

Student Led Conferences and field day activities are June 5th and 6th. You will be able to sign up for a time slot for your student's SLC with your teacher. We will also be looking for parent volunteers to help with field day games. More information to follow.

There is early release on the last day of school, June 7. We will be dismissing at 1:30 to accommodate MSD's busing schedule.

Parent Crew - Teacher Appreciation

The Parent CREW would like to celebrate the wonderful, teachers at PPCS by having a catered meal for our staff at a date that works best for them. If we are able to collect enough donations, we would also like to send our staff on a summer adventure. In previous years, the Parent CREW was able to pay for our teaching staff to go white water rafting. Any contributions towards our effort would be greatly appreciated. Cash and checks (made to PPCS-with Teacher Appreciation in memo) can be dropped of at the PPCS office in an envelope labeled "Teacher Appreciation". If it is more convenient you can also send your donation directly to Heather Flynn via PayPal or Venmo (@heatherflynn0705). Please contribute by May, 31st.
