April 29th- Professional Development Day

Students being dropped off for breakfast must be dropped off no earlier the 8:35 at

the back of the school by the cafeteria doors. Students should not being entering the building early unless they are coming in to eat breakfast.

Students will be participating in ISASP testing the weeks of April 18th and April 25th. For students to have the best testing experience, it is important to get a good night's sleep and eat a balanced breakfast in the morning. Students will not be allowed to have access to cell phones or smart watches during any of the assessments. Any students that are absent will make up any missed assessments upon returning to school. Please try to schedule any appointments outside grade level testing times. It will be particularly important for students to be in attendance for the entire day to have the opportunity to complete the entire assessment. Late arrivals and students leaving early may interfere with this.

Please send younger children with extra clothes in their backpack for when accidents occur.

McTeacher Night at McDonald's: April 21 @ 4:30-7:30 pm
Take a break from cooking and raise money for our school! Join the PTO at McDonald's (1530 22nd Street, WDM) Thursday, April 21st from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Dine in or drive-through. Let the cashier know you're with the school and part of the profits will head straight back to CLA to support field trips, classroom supplies and activities at the school.

Keep Clive Beautiful: April 23 @ 9AM

The Clive PTO is happy to announce the return of our spring cleanup event! In coordination with Earth Day, on Saturday, April 23 at 9 AM Clive students and families are invited to gather together outside our building. We will be doing light raking, gardening, and litter cleanup. It’s an opportunity that not only beautifies our building but helps to build community. Come meet other Clive families in a safe and fun outdoor setting! Upon arrival, check-in at the front lobby doors. (This is not a drop off event, please plan to stay with your student.)
