Class of 2023 - Information for Seniors!
- Senior Meeting Wednesday, April 26 in the Auditorium
- Senior Clearance Activities begin May 1st on Google Classroom. All of the below activities must be completed before graduation:
- Graduation Requirements (CRLE)
- Naviance Survey
- Textbook and Chromebook Return
- Pay Outstanding Fees
Caps, Gowns and Tassels -Available for pick up on April 26th. If you are not able to pick it up please pick up items at Mrs. Murphy's desk (after 4/26). If you still need to order please go to jostens.com to place your order to be delivered to your house.
Graduation Tickets: Each Graduate receives 6 graduation tickets - up to 2 additional graduation tickets can be purchased from the bookkeeper after April 24 ($15 per ticket) (while supplies last). After 5/12 any unsold tickets will be available ($15 per ticket, while supplies last). If you do not need all your tickets you can let Liz Murphy know and she will make them available to other graduates to purchase.Your graduation tickets will be given to you after you have completely clear and not until the morning of grad rehearsal.
Dates to block out for graduation events:
- May 31st, 12:45 PM Merit Awards - Mandatory attendance for seniors. Parents attend by invite only.
- June 1st, 8 am- 12:00 Graduation Rehearsal (including senior breakfast)- Mandatory attendance for seniors if you are participating in the ceremony
- June 1st, 3:15 - Arrive at Rollings Hills for ceremony
- June 1st, 4:00 - 6:00 Graduation Ceremony
- June 1st, 7:00 Senior Grad Night Party

LHS Variety Show - Tickets on Sale Now (4/20-4/22)
Lakeridge High School is proud to present REWIND, a Musical Variety Show presented by Lakeridge Company Choir and featuring the Lakeridge Jazz Band! With choreographed big group numbers, small ensembles, and solos of songs from the 1940’s to present day, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
Performances: April 20, 21, 22 at 7:30pm and April 22 at 2:00pm.
Tickets on sale now: Adults $16 Students $10, reserved seating in LHS Auditorium
AP Exams: First Two Weeks In May!
AP Exams are coming up the first two weeks of May. If your student is signed up for an AP exam, please check the schedule to see when they will be taking their AP exams. Our students have spent the entire year studying for these exams and our teachers will have them well prepared for exam day. This year, AP US History, AP Euro History, AP English Language, and AP English Literature will all be digital exams and require school issued Chromebooks. AP French and AP Spanish testing students will also need to use their school issued Chromebooks. Additional information regarding AP testing is available on the LHS website.

Scholarship Opportunities
Rotary Club of Lake Oswego Scholarship Fund
The Rotary Club of Lake Oswego is once again offering three types of scholarships to qualified high school seniors. The value of each scholarship is $3,000.
- Merit: Based on grades, test scores, honors, and leadership
- Service Above Self: Based primarily on a commitment to community service
- Bigelow Memorial: Our need-based scholarship, awarded to a student who has faced and overcome significant challenges in life
- Deadline is May 1st, 2023

2023 Joseph E. Everhart Memorial Scholarship
- LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP, $1,500 EACH
- Awarding both a deserving senior track and football scholarship

Student Summer Opportunities
Please click Summer Programs LHS to follow this link for tons of activities, programs, and opportunities to gain new experiences etc., that colleges and employers consistently look for in applicants, including communication skills, critical thinking skills, and dedication to specific subjects. Local summer jobs, internships, volunteer activities, service learning, travel, etc. can also be just as enriching. Do what suits you and your family best!
Mock Interviews - Volunteers Needed (May 1-4)!
Advanced Communication Skills (ACS) Mock Interviews are coming up Monday, May 1st through Thursday, May 4th! This event is only possible with many volunteers. The time commitment is close to 90 minutes and you may sign up for more than one day/time. No special training is needed, all information and materials are provided on the sign up. The ACS students really appreciate your time and look forward to working with Mock Interview volunteers. Thank you in advance for sharing your time, talent and enthusiasm!
A friendly reminder all volunteers are required to complete the Volunteer Application/
Background Check and be approved in order to volunteer in the LOSD. It only takes a few minutes to complete. Approval emails have been typically been received within 3 days.
