Notes From the Office
Next week is the most amazing week of the fall - Homecoming 2023! Not only do we have fun dressup days all week long, we also have the opportunity to see the football players, cheerleaders and the band, up close, as they parade through our building. In the afternoon, we get to join the community and watch the parade as it goes through our community. It is a very exciting week for our Little Eddies.
At EPS, we do not have Halloween Parties. This has been a long standing tradition in the community. However, most of our classrooms do fall harvest activities during the month of October. Please watch for information from your child's classrrom teacher for activities that they may be doing. Additionally, I encourage you to attend the Spook-a-thon sponsored by S.A.D.D. at Edwardsburg High School.

Homecoming Week - Spirit Week Dress Up Days
Homecoming 2024 is right around the corner! It is honestly one of my favorite weeks of the school year! Our teachers will send out more information about activities and the parade next week.
Homecoming Parade
The Community Homecoming Parade will start at 1:30 on Friday, October 13th. We welcome families to this event, but ask that you not sit on the hill directly in front of the Primary on Section Street. Our Kindergarten and Looping students sit on the hill, so we need to reserve that space. The multi-age students and first grade students, will sit along the sidewalk on the north end of the school near the bus lot.
Parents are allowed to signout their students after the parade. We are trying something new in order to quickly dismiss students to parents who want to take their child from school early. This new procedure will provide us the opportunity to dismiss students safely and in a controlled manner.
- Please allow us the opportunity to get all of our students back into the building and to their classrooms. Do not ask to take your child from the sidewalk or hill. They need to report back to their classroom.
- Once they are in the classroom, we will open the doors for parents to walk to the classrooms.
- All teachers will have sign-out sheets at the door. You will have to sign-out your child and the teacher will dismiss them directly to you.
Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe during a very busy and exciting event at the Primary.
- Once you have your child, please exit the building in order to alleviate the hallway congestion.
