A Message from the Principal
Dear Greeley Families,
As a friendly reminder, there is no school tomorrow (November 8) for Election Day. Adults are not the only individuals that can and should exercise their freedom of choice; it is equally important that students have opportunities to include their voice and choice in daily learning at Greeley School!
This may look like students bringing their own areas of interest to the classroom, choosing how to respond to a writing or math prompt, or even working together to overcome an obstacle or solve a problem at our school. Consider asking your child the following question over dinner or during bedtime: What choices did you make at school today in your learning or with friends? Parents and caregivers know all too well that not every child is eager to come home and give an update on their day. Sometimes asking a specific question like this can help a child reflect and open up by giving them parameters around a discussion.
Sincerely,
Joshua Swanner
Principal
