DeBoef and Hallbeck Burning up the Course
From Coach Gigler-
Adelynn DeBoef was an awesome addition to our varsity team. In Adelynn's first season with Tiger Cross Country, we got to witness firsthand the evolution of her running. Adelynn began the season on Varsity after a great time trial and continued to progress throughout the season. Addy had her best outing at the District Meet leading the Lady Tigers with a 7th place finish earning All District honors. Adelynn is a great athlete to coach. She listens to our advice and applies the changes necessary to improve. She is also extremely hardworking and dedicated to self improvement as an athlete and student. We look forward to seeing her grow as a runner
Jack Hallbeck is an integral part of the AHS cross country team. His leadership this season guiding our team was instrumental to our success. Jack is one of two returning members to our varsity team. Jack had numerous top 10 finishes this season as well as earning All District honors finishing in 9th place at the District Meet in Gadsden. Jack is a major reason why we were able to send our team to state for the 6th consecutive season. Jack is extremely hardworking and dedicated to self improvement as an athlete and a student. In Jack's fourth varsity season, I have seen him transition from a good runner to a great runner. Jack is a 4.1 student and in the top 10 in his class.
