Kindness Week at Winchester: Feb 12- Feb 16
What is Kindness Week? Kindness Week is a way for students to practice kindness. Each day there will be a different theme. They are: Be Kind to yourself, Be Kind to others, Spread Love, Be kind to your environment and your community. You can see the schedule and list of activities here. Kindness Week is brought to you by: Winchester PTA, Winchester Dad's Club, Premier Pet Supply, i9 Sports, Northville Lumber and Tooth and Waffles Pediatric Dentistry (coming soon to Northville)!
Mrs. Eckley's 3rd Grade class and Mrs. Molnar's first grade class got together this week to create this beautiful display. Each link contains a sentiment on how they can show kindness to one another.
Children's Books for Media Center Multilingual Section
Hola families! We are creating multilingual sections in the media center and we need your help! We are looking for school-appropriate (children's) books in languages other than English or bilingual books. We are also looking for recommendations for multilingual books that your students would like to see in the library. Send your suggestions and/or questions to Miss McNair mcnairma@northvilleschools.org. Merci! Gracias!

Getting through the winter months...!
The Playground is Very WET and Muddy!
This winter has proven to be a very wet one for sure! Our dragons are drawn to the water and mud on the playground despite many reminders to stay clear of the puddles. It is not a bad idea to send in an extra pair of socks and an extra set of clothes just in case your child ends up getting wet or muddy. It is highly recommended that students wear boots and snow or rain gear and bring shoes to school to change into when they are indoors.
Health Reminder
Please remember children should be fever free for a full 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medication before returning to school. Thank you for helping us all stay healthy.
