11/23 and 11/24 Thanksgiving Break School Closed

It has been great seeing so many families taking part in conferences with our staff. Conference season continues through December 7 when we'll have another early release day. We hope you continue have rich and meaningful discussion about your students' progress and goals.

Our students are so close to hitting our first roar goal of 2000! They've been working so hard showing their 3 R's throughout the school all through the fall. Once we hit our mark, we will uncover our board and announce our all-school celebration. Stay tuned...

On Monday this week, Byam celebrated World Kindness Day by creating a kindness chain. After watching the video below, each student and staff member wrote or drew a picture on a link of a paper link about acts of kindness. We then connected all the links to create a Byam chain of kindness in our lobby.

Every year we collect gift cards from Walmart, Target, or Kohl's in the amount of no more than $25 gift cards for our Byam Cares program. This program gives Byam families in financial need a boost during challenging financial times. While we use the gift cards mostly during the holidays, we also have times other than holiday seasons when families are in need of gift card support. Any family interested in donating a gift card can donate a $25 maximum.

Tis the season! This year we are hoping to send some holiday cheer to our Byam families in need. In addition to our Byam Cares program, this year our School Counselor, Ms. O'Neil created a wish list on amazon to provide an option to buy toys, games, books, and other gifts our students in need would love to receive. All of the purchases will be mailed to Byam and then distributed to our families. If you are interested in buying a gift, please take a look at the link below.
