Thank you Wildcat families for all you are doing to help your children Thrive in the 💙💛 of LEXINGTON this school year. We are so glad to partner with each of you!
Are you receiving messages from your child’s teacher, the school, and the district through Parent Square? If not, let us know so that we can help you stay connected with all that is happening.
At any time during the year, if you have feedback that you would like to share regarding what is going well, what needs improvement, and ideas for improvement, we'd love to hear your feedback. The link to this form will stay active all year and alert me when there has been feedback submitted.

Keep hydrated!
Water’s importance doesn’t end with body functions. Additionally, it plays a vital role in brain function. When dehydration hits, it can impact a person’s productivity, memory, attention, and even mood.
Parents, please remind your students to bring water bottles for hydration, especially due to the hot temperatures we are experience recently.
Lunch with Your Student
Beginning Tuesday, September 5, feel free to join your student for lunch. Please allow time to check into the LES Main Office where lunch visitors will be signed into our security check-in system (Raptor) and receive authorization and a visitor’s badge.
All visitors will need to show valid state or government issued photo identification and must be listed on the student's contact list. (Two visitor limit per student, please.)
Once signed in, visitors will be directed to our cafeteria to reserved seating. Check in with staff inside the cafeteria to inform them you’ll be eating lunch with your student.
Lunch visitors may bring in lunch for their student only. No other students may join the student and their visitor.
We ask that guests return their child back to the class table 5 minutes before the end of lunch. Visitors may not attend recess or walk to the classroom.
Where will my student be at dismissal?
PLEASE have your car tags displayed in your windshield, hanging from the rearview mirror.
For safety, families need to remain in their cars for pick up and students must enter the car from the passenger side. Families are not able to park and walk up to pick up their children from the font or the back of the school.
*If your student is in Ms.Hudson's 4K class, 5K, or 1st grader, your student will be picked up at the front of the school.
*If you only have a student in Ms. Hudson's 4K or 5K, please stay in the righthand lane (closed to the school).
*Any student who has a Kindergarten or 1st grade sibling, OR carpools with a Kindergarten or 1st grade student, will be picked up in the front of the school as a COMBO rider. The left lane out front is the Combo Line. Please use our school entrance off North Lake Drive to the front of our school.
*All other students (2nd graders through 5th grade and any combination of those grades) will report to the back of the school for dismissal. Please use the school entrance to the back of our school off School Drive.
Spiritwear
This year our PTO is also partnering to offer spirit wear through online sales with the following company.
Spiritwear will still be offered during special school functions.
We need you!
The LES PTO needs parent & family member volunteers to help serve LES students & staff this school year. Please complete the PTO interest form or email lexingtonelementarypta@gmail.com to be added to our contact list.
There are a few opportunities already scheduled for the fall where we need volunteers.
- Lunch Duty - Friday's September 22, October 20, November 17, December from 10:30am-1:00pm. We would like to provide our teachers with a break from lunch duty on a Friday each month. We need 6-8 volunteers for each day to be able to cover for all the teachers. It's also our hope that if we have enough volunteers that you could eat with your child if you want to do that too. If you are able to help, please sign up on the LES Lunch Duty sign-up sheet.
- Chick Fil A Biscuit Sales - Wednesday's on September 6th, October 4th, November 8th. We will be selling Chick Fil A Biscuits in the morning car drop off lines. Volunteers are needed from 6:45am - 7:45am (or when biscuits sell out). If you are able to help, please sign up on the Chick Fil A Biscuit Sale sign-up sheet.
Again, we appreciate your interest in contributing to the PTO and LES.
