The elementary school raised a total of $2,967.18 for Buckeye families in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year's Warm and Fuzzy campaign.
Winter Concert - Tuesday, December 6
Please see the schedule below for this year's Winter Concert. The concert features the 2nd and 5th Grade music classes and the 5th and 6th Grade early band students.
6:00 - 6:15 pm 2nd grade students arrive in cafeteria
6:15 - Beginner Early Band warm up
6:30 - 2nd grade music classes and Beginner Early Band performance
7:00 - 7:15 pm 5th grade students arrive in cafeteria
7:15 - 6th grade Early Band warm up
7:30 - 5th grade music classes and 6th Grade Early Band performance
2nd Quarter Ends December 15
The final day of the second quarter is Thursday, December 15th. Report cards will be available online after 4 pm on Friday, January 6. Viewing and printing report card instructions are available here. If you have any issues logging into your student's Progress Book, please complete this form for assistance.

December Health Newsletter
With cold and flu season upon us, we encourage our students and staff to take the following everyday preventative actions to prevent the spread of illness:
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Germs spread this way.
Clean and disinfect surfaces or objects. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill.

If your child needs a particular piece of winter wear to stay warm in the cold weather, please be sure to connect with the counselor at your child’s school – they will be happy to try and locate the right piece of winter wear in just the right size.
Early Release Schedule
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO EARLY RELEASE IN DECEMBER. Early Release days give our teachers an opportunity to focus on activities and expectations that are aligned to district goals and our Strategic Plan. School will release on these days at 1:25 pm. Early Release days are listed below:

Reporting Absences
Absences can be reported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling 330-722-8257 ext. 9203. When calling the attendance line, please remember to report the reason your student will be absent. If your child is sick or has an appointment, we ask that you call to report this by 9:30 AM.
2022-23 Student Fees
Student fees are $80 for students Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Fees may be paid by cash or check in the Primary or Intermediate offices. Please make checks payable to Buckeye Local Schools.
Fees may also be paid online via PayForIt.net. Parents will need the student(s) ID number to create an account. This six digit number is your student's lunch ID number and is also found on your student's report card. If you are unable to find the student ID number, or if you have any concerns regarding student fees, please contact the Primary offices at x 4137 or the Intermediate offices at x 4339.
School Lunch Information
Lunch with milk - $3.00/day. Milk only - $.50 cents/day.
School meals are no longer free this school year. Please check your student's account to ensure it is not in the negative. If you have any questions about your student's lunch account or a Free and Reduced Meals application, please contact Mrs. Carrie Beegle.
Free lunches or lunches at a reduced cost of $.40 cents are available to students who qualify. Free and reduced applications are available and must be returned to the school to determine eligibility. To request an application, please contact Mrs. Bartko at the Primary or Mrs. Fike at the Intermediate.
