Mountain View Proudly Presents The SpongeBob Musical
Mark your calendars now to join your favorite yellow sponge and pink starfish as The Mountain View Middle School Players proudly present Nickelodeon™ The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition on March 8 and 9 at 7 p.m., and March 10 at 2 p.m.
This award-winning musical is based on the television series, but it follows the plotline of SpongeBob and his friends Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, and other characters as they must save their town from an impending volcanic eruption. What happens when each character is faced with this challenge and how do they plan to solve it? This show is filled with joy, danger, challenging choices, scheming, and hope as they race against the clock to save their town.
In addition, the show is filled with wonderful music by pop artists such as Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants, and others. It is a show to be enjoyed by all. Information about ticket sales will be shared in January.
Eagles Around the District

Portrait of an Eagle: Student Spotlight
Our Cumberland Valley High School JROTC cadets exemplify our Portrait of an Eagle competencies on a regular basis. Most recently, they were invited by Chief Justice Debra Todd to Post and Retire the colors during a Veterans Day event in honor of Pennsylvania jurists and staff who have served in the U.S. military. Our cadets displayed confidence, communication, and responsibility during the ceremony, which took place at the Pennsylvania Judicial Center in the Capitol Complex.
