ST. MARY PHOENIX NEWS
December 6, 2019
Mrs. Marvin's Corner
It was exciting week with the visit of the Money Machine from our most recent cookie dough Fundraiser. We raised $3000 from this fundraiser to support programming at St. Mary's. Thank you all for your participation. It was our best year ever. The winner of the trip into the Money Machine was Alex Noser. Alex was able to pick up $51.00 in cash from his 60 seconds of fun in the Money Machine. Brielle Burchett won the Kalahari tickets for her family and Third Grade received the $25 cash card for a food party for their room. It was a fun time for all of us.
Help Needed: I need 4 parent volunteers to supervise lunch on Thursday, December 19th from 11:50-12:35. If you are able to help out please let the office know. Thank you.
Just a reminder: The weather is turning frightful and we go outside everyday that the temperature is above 25 degrees including the windchill. If your student has an aversion to wearing a coat, they can bring one in and leave it in their locker for those cold days when we go outside Please double check your children as they leave your house. Many are arriving at school in sweatshirts or without a coat. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe.
If you did not get your "Munch, Mingle and Jingle" tickets and want to attend, we will have tickets at the door. Join us for a fun-filled Holiday event.
The "Christmas Program" is Tuesday Night at 6:30PM. Please make sure that your students are here by 6:15PM dressed in their holiday finest. Parents are welcome to find their seats starting at 6:00PM. Join us for our holiday concert.

St. Mary School Information
Since 1865, people have known St. Mary School students by their actions. This is because throughout our history, we have focused on building student’s character, based on the values instilled by the Catholic Faith, and a foundation of academic excellence.
St. Mary School provides a welcoming environment where families have the freedom to celebrate the faith. In a world of need, responsibility matters and strength is needed to serve our communities. It is our mission to develop students who have the ability to be mentors and leaders in the world. We recognize that each student is a unique gift from God and we individualize instruction to help them reach their full potential. We strive to promote an atmosphere that encourages a love of learning and provides children with a foundation of faith to balance and guide them for the rest of their lives.
