Warrior Service Scholars went to 'Never Say Never Stables' on Maple Drive to help with fall clean-up on November 20th. 'Never Say Never' is a volunteer based not-for-profit that provides life-enriching, equine and animal related activities for children and teens living with long term illness, special needs and/or other life challenges. Our Schroeder students were able to lift some of the burden of maintaining the farm's 11 acres by raking leaves. They learned about the work being done by this organization and had time to meet the animals. It was a fantastic opportunity to provide service to an amazing program right here in our Webster community!

Brockport met with 8 students at Webster Schroeder on 11/14. As a result of the Instant Decision Day, Abby G. who was already accepted to Brockport still attended the interview. After interviewing, she received an additional scholarship and was offered free housing for their first year (an additional 20,000 dollars!) Congrats Abby! Scholarship money she would not have received if she did not interview!

Jack F received an instant decision acceptance into their emerging scholars program!

For those of you who don't know, Colin Montesano was a 2014 Schroeder Graduate, and close friend of mine, who passed away suddenly while attending the University of Pittsburgh. This year will be the 8th annual blood drive hosted here at Schroeder. If you are willing and able to donate I would encourage you to sign up for an appointment. Here is the link to sign up, then click on Webster Schroeder High School See Times on the left. Even if you can't donate I encourage you to come and mingle. It is always a great way to celebrate the compassionate person Colin was, the Montesano's love hearing any and all memories you may have of him.

NHS is sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, December 5th at the Aquatic Center. We need at least 20 donors for the drive to happen and we are in a competition with Thomas H.S. for the most donors. There are times available from 8:30 am - 1:15 pm. The Red Cross is offering 2 pairs of holiday socks with your donation. So many great reasons to donate!

The next session of Driver Education will take place January 6th, 2025 - March 14th, 2025. Registration will open Wednesday, December 11th at 8:00am.
