iLead Law & Leadership Conference

The iLead Law & Leadership Conference is a one-day workshop focusing on law and leadership skills for high school students. During the workshop, students will work with judges, lawyers, and leaders in the legal community who are committed to supporting their academic growth and legal career aspirations. Lunch, prizes, and program material provided!

Students should speak with Mr. Iliff for more information (spots are limited for this field trip)!

• October is College Knowledge Month in Minnesota and to celebrate, the colleges and universities of Minnesota State are waiving their application fees for the entire month. That's what we call Minnesota State Month! October is a great time for graduating seniors to explore one or more of the 26 colleges and seven universities of Minnesota State and apply for FREE. AGAPE will be closed on Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th. HeadStart childcare will be OPEN all day on Thursday the 19th and they will have an early release (all children must be picked up by 12pm) on Friday the 20th. Please note - there will be NO SPPS TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE, SO PLAN AHEAD!

AGAPE and HeadStart will be partnering to have a Fall Celebration on 10/31. We will have decorations, some treats and we invite babies and toddlers to dress up for the Fall baby/toddler Parade with HeadStart teachers around the school hallways (dressing up is NOT required to participate and we will cheer everyone on regardless!) Please note: Students are to stay in classrooms during the parade! Childcare teachers will walk around the building with their infant/toddler students and will stop at each classroom.

All students who have their photo taken will receive a high quality hard plastic school ID from LifeTouch! THIS OFFER DOES NOT APPLY TO RETAKE DAY so be at school on 11/16 and be ready to take a picture! If you are or will be on homebound on Picture day, please feel free to come in to school to have your picture taken. We will also be using these photos to upload into the SmartPass system!

As a reminder, pictures are for students ONLY. Babies are not allowed to be outside of childcare for photos and Lifetouch does not allow more than 1 person in school photos. We will have an opportunity this Spring for mother/baby photos - stay tuned!
