CTS Snapshot

Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

Students receive lesson stars where a teacher feels a student has made an excellent contribution in their lesson. Some students receive multiple lesson stars across the week, below are the students who have received the most stars for each year group this week:

Year 7:

Noble 7CO, Matvey 7CA, Mirella 7CO, Daniel 7CA, Fabian, 7CO, David 7CO and Alexis 7CO.

Year 8:

Jessica 8ST, Sophie 8CO, Myles 8TA, Lily 8CA, Aurea 8CA, Aeilah 8SW, Uros 8TA, Rhiannon 8TE, Svetlana 8CO and Alfie 8CA.

Year 9:

Kellan 9TA, Uros 9TE, Kai 9ST, Nikola 9TE and Ilamathi 9TA.

Year 10:

Amber 10CU, Danica 10CU and Patricia 10TA.

Year 11:

Sarah 11TE, Dominik 11TA, Kasper 11CA, Olivier 11ST, Deliana 11TA, Oliwia 11TU, Kade 11SW, Orla 11ST, Wiktoria 11CA and Eva 11CO.

Year 12:

Robert 12B, Ryan 12A, Kitty 12A, Josh 12B and Arina 12B

Our students have made a fantastic start to their learning, and lots of lesson stars and achievement points have been given out by staff. In particular we would like to celebrate three students this week who have been recognised most highly for their efforts:

Corby Technical School are offering a Careers Pop up Shop every lunch time from 12.30pm to 2.00pm so students can ask our Careers Advisor for appointments or advice during their lunch breaks.

This week saw the first of our Pop up shop guests -The National Saturday Club is a fully funded club held at University of Northampton, offering students who are interested in Art & Design or Film & Screen the opportunity to create and exhibit with other students from around the county. It was very popular and over 20 students expressed an interest.

Next week we welcome Moulton College

Well done to all students who attended co-curricular clubs today. Clubs were very well attended and we hope all students enjoyed themselves.

Just a reminder that all clubs run on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3.00pm to 4.00pm and these can be booked via EduLink.

Our Year 7 Meet and Greet event will take place on Wednesday 25th September, we look forward to welcoming our new parents on the evening.
