FIRST DAY INFORMATION
Accessing Class Schedule for 1st Day
Steps for a Great First Day of School:
Log onto MyStudent this weekend:
- Click the Menu tab (3 dashes) in the top right.
- Click “Class Schedule” on the left.
- Flip your phone horizontally, swipe left to see room numbers.
- Note your lunch period. If you have "B" Lunch and want to leave CLICK HERE
Arrival:
- Arrive no earlier than 6:45am.
- Grab breakfast and eat in the Cafeteria, Courtyard, or your teacher’s classroom.
Schedules:
- You’ll receive a paper schedule in your first period class on Monday, including bus info.
Assistance:
- If you can’t access your schedule, staff will be available to help you find your first period class.
If you can't access your schedule, don't worry, we will have staff members posted throughout our campus to assist you.

🚌BUS LOOP LOCATIONS
Please review the bus map for after-school parking locations. Students should take a picture of their bus slot.
The Transportation Call Center is open August 5-9 (8:30am-4:30pm) and August 12-16 (6:00am-6:00pm) for parent inquiries. Year-round hours are 6:30am-5:30pm. Contact: 813-320-2562. Bus info is available in myStudent.Most questions can be answered by reviewing the flyers below or by visiting the District Transportation page.
All bus riders must sign in when entering and exiting the bus. Students should access their “Virtual ID” via myStudent to speed up this process. Please review the flyer on how to access the “Virtual ID” before the first day of school and download it to their phone. Additionally, directions for the WHERE'S THE BUS app are below to track your student’s bus location.
Lunch Information
Lunch Information:
- 6th Period Lunch: Students can bring snacks and drinks to school and consume them in all classes, except during labs or tech use.
- “B” Lunch: Parents can complete a form for students to leave at 12:59pm. CLICK HERE to complete the form.
- Free Meals: All breakfast and lunch are free this year. For ala carte items, add funds to MySchoolBucks. CLICK HERE for more info.
"B" Lunch Check Out Form
If your child has “B” lunch and wants to leave campus at 12:59pm, you must complete THIS FORM.
- Leaving Campus: Your child must leave immediately after 6th period. Lingering may result in a referral.
- Exceptions: If your child has practice or tutoring, they can stay on campus for lunch.
- Approval: You’ll receive an email via myStudent when the form is approved. This email serves as their pass, so take a screenshot for easy access.

GENERAL INFORMATION
ABC Program
Are you teaching your child to drive?
Driving Practice: If your child has a restricted license and you’re practicing driving with them, please do not enter the car line. Park in the back of the Student Parking lot near the Basketball Courts for a smooth and safe transition & apply for a Student Driver Pass, CLICK HERE to access the Student Driver page. Look for the blue Student Driver application at the bottom of the page.
Bring Your Own Device
Students are encouraged and permitted to bring their personal laptops or tablets to school for daily use. There is no form to complete, etc...Students simply are permitted to bring these devices to school to use for their school work.
Per School Board Policy 5136.01, the district assumes no responsibility for the theft, loss, damage or vandalism to electronic equipment and devices brought onto its property, or the unauthorized use of such devices.

Code of Conduct
Each year the Student Code of Conduct is updated by Pasco County Schools. It is the expectation that every student and family are aware of their rights and responsibilities outlined within the Student Code of Conduct. Please CLICK HERE to access the Pasco County Student Code of Conduct and Discipline page. All students are required to acknowledge that they have read the SCOC prior to accessing their schedule.

Deliveries to our Campus for Students
- No Outside Deliveries: We do not permit deliveries from outside services. Any such deliveries will be sent away.
- No Celebratory Items: We will not deliver balloons or other celebratory items to students.
- No Fast Food: Do not personally deliver fast food for lunch; it violates District FNS policy.
- Instructional Items Only: Only items needed for instructional purposes will be delivered, and students will be called down during lunchtime to pick them up.
Dual Enrollment Update
Please review the below Dual Enrollment updates for Fall 2024.
- Fall Dual Enrollment textbook pick-up dates can be found on the flyer below. The preorder MACHFORM will be available from July 22nd through August 9th. If your student is enrolled in a DE course on our campus (ENC or CRIMINAL JUSTICE) he/she does not need to complete the form.

Schedule Change for DE Courses
Once students have completed registration for off-campus DE courses (either taking the course on a PHSC campus, online through PHSC, or DE through Pasco eSchool), you must provide your School Counselor with a copy of your PHSC schedule before your high school schedule will be adjusted for PHSC placeholders. CLICK THIS LINK as this must be completed within 24 hours of registration. Please know we do not arrange your high school schedule to accommodate your PHSC schedule. If you have any questions, please contact your School Counselor.

Lockers
Lockers may be purchased online. Locker assignments for lockers that are out in classroom buildings will be ASSIGNED at lunches during the 1st two weeks of the school year on the stage. Students who purchased a PE locker will receive their PE locker assignment during their PE class during the first two weeks of school.
Medication Drop-Off
Please call the clinic OR email Elena Herrera (Clinic Assistant), or Allison Heck (School Nurse) at 813-346-4405 to set up an appointment for medication drop off. Medication will not be accepted if brought in by your child.
Pictures - August 22nd
Our school picture date is August 22nd. Please be aware of this fast approaching date so you are prepared to look your best for your school picture!
Make-Up Date for school pictures is September 24th.
Senior Panoramic photo will also be taken September 24th.
Senior Deadline for photos is October 31st.
Schedule Changes
Senior Sunrise
Senior Sunrise will be at the Football Stadium on the first day of school. It will start at 6:30am and will end at 7am. Please bring a blanket and breakfast and enjoy the sunrise on the first day of Senior year.

Student & Staff of the Week HOWL Outs
Staff of the Week Howl-Outs: Recognize staff for exemplifying our HOWL mission. Families and students can submit Howl-Outs using the button in the Quick Links section at the top of every Howler Hub.
Student of the Week Howl-Outs: Each week, we announce recognized students on the intercom Monday morning and take their picture in the courtyard.

Need Supplies? Email Mrs. Garrett, Advisor of the ABC program, for assistance. Supplies are also available in Student Services—just grab what you need, no questions asked.
Refunds
Did you pay fees for a class your child no longer has on their schedule? Not to worry! Simply email our Bookkeeper, Lorraine McKinney, and she will get your reimbursement to you!
Student Parking
- Cost: $40
- Requirements: Current driver’s license, insurance, registration, and completed application form.
- Parking Pass: Mandatory for all student drivers.
- Monitoring: Lots are monitored by the Criminal Justice Academy.
- Enforcement: Students without passes after the 2nd week will be ticketed and may be towed.
- Location: Park only in the student lot by the gym, in your assigned spot.

**Visit the Student Parking Table at lunches during the first week of school, once all of your documents have been submitted and your fee has been paid, to pick up your parking tag & receive your assigned parking spot.
Students may park in any parking spot in the student parking lot that is not painted until August 23rd. After this date, student must only park in their assigned parking spot.
Student Drop-Off/Pick Up
Car Line Timing:
- Arrival: Enter the car line before 6:55am to avoid tardiness. Tardies after 7:10am are unexcused.
- Efficiency: Morning car loop takes 3-5 minutes; afternoon takes about 11 minutes.
Expectations for Parents/Guardians:
- Use caution in the traffic circle.
- Drop-off/pick-up area is by the yellow pillars.
- Turn from the outer lane and exit at the 2nd turn.
- Pull forward to the bumper of the car in front before your child enters/exits.
- No electronic devices in the drop-off lane.
Expectations for Students:
- Enter campus after 6:45am.
- Use the black gates between the Media Center and Cafeteria for the car loop.
- Do not enter/exit vehicles until pulled all the way forward.
School Advisory Council (SAC)
Cypress Creek High School is looking for community members, parents & students to join the School Advisory Committee. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!
School Advisory Councils are peer-elected, collaborative teams comprised of family members, the school administration, teachers or other school-based staff, students, and community members. SACs champion the work for improved student achievement, parent and community engagement in the educational process, and communication and support between home and school. We appreciate your support as we "GET TO" work together towards the success of our school community. Due to updates with the District's volunteer requirements, all community SAC members (parents, community members, etc.) must complete a background check. Please review the District's Volunteer website as it will explain the requirements, fee, etc.

Volunteering @ CCHS
Interested in volunteering this school year? To continue to ensure the safety of our students, the District is making several changes to our volunteer requirements and application process for the 2024-2025 school year. Effective 8/1/2024, all volunteers will be required to complete a Level 2 background screening every 5 years. This background check will review records in the state of Florida as well as the national FBI database. The cost for this screening is $41.25 and volunteers will be responsible for this cost. The District will pay the yearly monitoring fee for each volunteer. Volunteers will need to complete an annual volunteer application to ensure accurate records.
