The Cambridge English Dictionary defines "flexibility" as the ability to change or be changed easily according to the situation. It seems like every time we turn around, we have the opportunity to practice being flexible! This past Thursday is a perfect example - who would have thought that we would have another rain event where our phones would stop working, our circle drive would flood, after school activities would be cancelled, tree limbs would fall, and power would fail. I'm so thankful for our staff who easily adjusts to whatever is thrown their way!

As this upcoming week is Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to the incredible folks who make Meadow Wood the amazing school that it is! Brad Henry said, "A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination, and instill a love of learning." This happens every day at MWE, and our Eagles are the beneficiaries!! Please join me in celebrating our wonderful faculty this week, and as always, thank you for partnering with us!

If your child has medication in the clinic, it will need to be picked up by the last day of school, May 30, 2024. All medications that are left in the clinic after Thursday, May 30th, will be discarded per district protocol. Medications must be picked up by a parent or guardian.

PTA is collecting gently used MWE spirit wear in all sizes for CIS students. Donations can be dropped off at 14406 Twisted Oak Lane or the MWE front office. Please spread the word, especially to 5th grade families who may no longer need their spirit wear after this year. Reach out to Jordan Bohrer (jordan.bohrer@gmail.com) if you have questions!

Registration for the upcoming school year is now open. It is helpful to us, for planning purposes, for you to do this as early as possible. If you have neighbors who will be attending MWE for the first time next year, please encourage them to register early. Registration is done online through Skyward.

All returning students MUST complete Returning Student Verification Forms in Skyward. If you have questions, please reach out to Susan Snelling. Thank you!

Reminder: Every week we have T-2-4 Tuesday - students are encouraged to wear their favorite college or military shirt. Fridays are MWE Spirit Day! Wear your Eagle attire!
