CIHS Boys Soccer Team ⚽
CIHS boys soccer team at Jonathan Alder in the 3rd round of the district tournament. They received the runner up trophy and medals! Way to go Columbus International Soccer Team, Go Lions!!
LIONS SHOUTOUT 📣
3 CIHS students: Nana Adjei, Natnael Tewolde, and Jasmine Inthavongsa, were admitted to and received $3,000 merit scholarships to Central State University at their event hosted at East High School today.
November is Native American Heritage Month. Native American Heritage Month first started in 1990 and celebrates the cultures, traditions and contributions of Native people, including American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian and American Samoan communities. This month raises awareness about the vibrant cultures and heritage of Native communities, celebrating the unique traditions and voices of tribes across the nation.

Columbus Veterans Rally - November 10th
Sunday, November 10, 2024 11:30 am – 3:30 pm
National Veterans Memorial and Museum - 300 W Broad St
Join CCS JROTC Cadets and MILVETS for the 1st Annual Columbus Veterans Rally. The event is open to all Veterans and those who did not serve but would like to show support. It will feature entertainment, meals and Veteran-related vendor tents. All attendees can also take advantage of the Dog Tag Discount Program and enjoy discounted or complementary admission to NVMM and COSI.
- Free food
- Free admittance for everyone to the museum
- Free parking – and easy drop off area close to event
- Activities for adults and kids – face painting and magic show
- Key information tents for Veterans and their dependents
November 16-17 : East High School (1500 E. Broad St)
Remote Area Medical Services will provide FREE dental, vision, and medical services on a first-come, first-served basis: Clinic doors typically open at 6 a.m. All services are free and open to the public. No ID required. Please arrive early to secure an spot. Due to time constraints, be prepared to choose between DENTAL and VISION services. Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic.
CIHS Prom Requirements
- To attend prom Seniors must have 120 internship hours logged into Schoolinks and all APEX completed to attend prom.
- To attend prom Juniors must have 60 internship hours logged into Schoolinks and all Freshman core classes complete to attend prom.
Harmony Project Concert - November 7th
HOW IT FEELS TO BE FREE: THE CONCERT FOR COMMUNITY, features the nation’s largest community chorus on stage. This groundbreaking concert explores themes of self-realization and community transformation through songs and stories of hope, redemption, and freedom. The evening will feature stunning performances by incarcerated adults from Central Ohio prisons as well as videos highlighting stories of people transitioning from incarceration to freedom.

CIHS Family Ambassador- Marybel Perez Ridley
Welcome to a new school year! My name is Marybel Perez Ridley and I am the Family Ambassador at Columbus International High School.
My role as Family Ambassador is to share tips, tools, and strategies that can further connect learning experience between classroom and home, host educational opportunities for families and connect families to community and district resources.
