From Mrs. Bryant
A big thank you to our Lake Cities Fire Department! They visited SSE this week for their annual fire safety presentations to students. The community is invited to the Lake Cities Fire Department Open House on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Fire House No. 3 on Cliff Oaks Drive (across from Corinth Elementary). Our second grade and fifth grade fire safety contest winners will be announced at this community event.
We would love to have our parents and grandparents on campus helping and seeing the great things happening at SSE. If you are interested in serving as a WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) or a WATCH DOGS M.O.M.S (Moms of Marvelous Students), please complete this Google Form and we will reach out to you about how and when is best with your schedule. Wondering how much time commitment this is? Or what being a WATCH D.O.G.S. or a WATCH DOGS M.O.M.S looks like at SSE? It can look like helping in our car line to greet students before school starts or coming and hanging out with our students on the soccer field during recess. It doesn't have to be a daily or weekly commitment. We know you are busy, but we also know how important and impactful parents and guardians being at school show our students.
We had such a great turnout with our student-led conferences these past few weeks. We are still working hard to connect with every family. Mrs. Stevenson and I will be in touch to help set up a conference for you if you have not been able to connect with your child's teacher. Partnerships are what help our students achieve the most success!
