The News
Congratulations to our Phil Campbell High School Marching Bobcat Band on their great performance at the Northwest Alabama Marching Classic at Russellville High School on Saturday. They won Superior awards in the following categories: drum major, color guard, percussion, majorette, and band.
If you haven't had a chance to hear our band perform, you are missing a treat! They put on a great halftime show every Friday night but the their rendition of the National Anthem may the best they've played in years.
Volleyball: Our varsity volleyball team beat Sheffield in area play last week giving them a 3-1 area record. They also beat Florence on Saturday. Or JV team beat Waterloo and our JH team beat Belgreen on Saturday.
Athlete of the Week: Britney Coffman earned Athlete of the Week honors from a local newspaper for her performance against Colbert County in area play the week before last.

Thought For The Week
Every morning, at the end of announcements, we read a Thought for the Week. This was our Thought For the Week last week:
How you practice is how you play. If you don’t practice hard, don’t expect to play well. Same thing applies to the classroom. If you don’t practice your classwork, don’t expect to do well on tests.
