Cypress Springs High School
February 2025
Dear Cypress Springs Families,
Welcome to February! Time is flying... before we blink, it will be finals week. We have a lot of work to do!
I want to thank those families who are always diligently supporting our scholars and our school. We have many accomplishments on and off campus. When you see negativity, feel free to copy and paste anything from our newsletter - it's up to all of us to preserve the positive image of our neighborhood school. There are nearly 3,000 hard working students at our school, and they depend on the adults in their life to make sure they are looked upon as a positive contributor to society. Our mission statement is "Cypress Springs High School equips students with the tools they need for academic, personal and social achievement" Won't you help us get that word out?
We are looking forward to many great events in the coming weeks - see below and take some time to stop by and enjoy them - our scholars appreciate your presence.
Be a Blessing!
Dr. Cheryl T. Henry
Principal

Alumni Spotlight - Daniella Almazan!
Daniella is one of our former Panthers from the Class of 2018. Daniella was a Pantera while at Cypress Springs. I ran into Daniella while on a visit to our newest feeder campus, Byrd Elementary. Daniella is a 4th grade teacher and her students love her!
Daniella attended the University of Texas at San Antonio directly after high school. When COVID hit, she moved home and completed her education at the University of Houston (Go COOGS). Her favorite memory from high school is being a Pantera from sophomore to senior year. She says being part of a school organization was one of her best high school decisions and gave her the opportunity to participate in lots of programs/shows while welcoming in the community. In her words, " I made some of the greatest friends through this experience and for that I am forever thankful. I love and appreciate CSHS for the great memories and lessons learned.
Thanks Daniella for being a great example and for giving back to our Cypress Springs community. We salute you!
