Hey there, Krimmel Families!
We’ve seen remarkable growth and enthusiasm from our students, both academically and in extracurricular activities. This quarter has been filled with achievements, from classroom learning to sports, and arts. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to provide a rich and engaging learning environment, and we could not be more proud of the progress made.
As we look ahead to the next quarter, we also prepare for QSE testing. These assessments, scheduled over the next two weeks, will give us valuable insights into our students' mastery of core concepts. The QSE tests are designed to help identify areas of strength as well as areas where additional focus may be needed, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to continue thriving.
Here are a few tips to help your child prepare for the QSE:
- Encourage good study habits: Set aside dedicated study time each day leading up to the test.
- Ensure a healthy routine: Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and eats nutritious meals, especially on test days.
- Stay positive: A positive mindset can make all the difference! Encourage your child to approach testing with confidence.
- Review class materials: Help your child review key concepts in their notes, textbooks, and any study guides provided by their teachers.
I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire school community. Your involvement and commitment are what make Krimmel Intermediate such a special place for learning and growth. As we continue into the second quarter, we look forward to even more success and the opportunity to support every student in reaching their full potential.
Together, let’s make this next quarter just as amazing as the first!

Veteran's Day Celebration to Honor Heroes
As we approach Veterans Day on November 11th, we want to take this opportunity to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. At Krimmel Intermediate, we recognize the importance of remembering their sacrifices and celebrating their dedication to preserving our freedom.
To commemorate Veterans Day, we invite families to submit photos of veterans who are close to their hearts—whether they are family members, friends, or community members. These pictures will be part of a special Veterans Day Tribute displayed at our school and shared during our ceremony.
Car Rider Dismissal Reminders
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well. As we work together to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, I’d like to kindly remind everyone of the importance of following our car dismissal procedures. These guidelines are in place to ensure a smooth, safe, and organized process for both students and staff during the busiest time of day.
Car Dismissal Procedures
- Designated Pickup Zones: Please ensure that you are using the designated pickup areas to avoid having students cross through the parking lot or street. This helps us ensure that every child is accounted for and supervised as they leave campus.
- Walking Restrictions: Students are no longer permitted to walk to off-campus locations (such as nearby stores or parking lots). All students must wait in the designated dismissal area until their transportation arrives.
- Loading Zone and Safe Crossing: Our staff will guide students to cross at the designated crosswalk when it is safe. Please be patient and wait for your child in the official pickup area to avoid any unnecessary risks.
- Left Turn Restrictions: For the safety of everyone, parents are kindly reminded not to make left turns into the parking lot from the inside lane. This will help prevent congestion and potential accidents.
When dismissal procedures aren’t followed, it can create confusion and unsafe conditions for our students. We want to avoid any potential accidents and ensure that everyone can leave the campus safely and efficiently. By working together and adhering to these guidelines, we can make dismissal smoother and safer for everyone involved.
We truly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to improve our dismissal process. Your kindness and understanding go a long way in helping us keep our school community safe.
Thank you for being such a supportive partner in ensuring the safety of all our students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help.
