Dear Families,

On behalf of the American Heart Association - THANK YOU! We raised $13,902.01, 85 students registered online and 22 students completed Finn's Mission. Please click the link below to see how the AHA uses the donations they receive.

With spring right around the corner we also begin to see an uptick in student behavior especially unkindness. Please take a few minutes this weekend to review our schoolwide expectations with your child.

Smart Watches/Wearables

We have several students who wear smart watches or watches that allow them to text/call parents. These items are not allowed to be used during the school day. We treat these devices as cell phones and will ask students to turn them off and put them in their backpacks if they are a distraction. If you need to get in touch with your child please call our office, we are happy to get a message to them about changes in transportation at the end of the day.

Gum Chewing

We have seen a signifiant increase in the number of students chewing gum at school and then we are finding it on the floor and playground. As a reminder we do not allow gum at school except for students who may have a specified plan that has been agreed upon with parents. In cases like this the gum is kept with the classroom teacher. Students should not have direct access to gum in their pockets or backpacks.

Please do not send your child to school with gum and if you are able to check their backpacks to remove any they have stashed away we would appreciate it.

Toys/Fidgets

Another reminder, we do not allow any toys/fidgets from home unless approved. We have a lot of students bringing Rubix Cubes. These items should remain at home.
