Did you know that over 200 people and businesses have donated funds and in-kind worth $285K in almost 2000 individual donations to build PPCS? Last year about 50% of PPCS families donated to Idaho Gives. Please help us reach 80% in 2024 to finish building our school and win cash prizes! Go to the link or use the QR code below. Teacher Appreciation

As Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6th-10th) approaches, we're excited to honor the incredible educators who make a difference in the lives of our students every day. The Parent Crew has decided to continue the tradition of catering a lunch, and we need your support to make it happen.

Our teachers work tirelessly to educate, inspire, and empower our students. They go above and beyond to create engaging lessons, provide support, and foster a love for learning. Now, it's our turn to give back and show them just how much we appreciate everything they do.

Other ways to show appreciation:

Drop off a coffee or their favorite drink
A note of appreciation from your child and/or family.
Volunteer in their classroom during the end of school rush.
Gift Cards to Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc for classroom items.

Your generosity is truly appreciated, and every contribution will make a difference in showing our teachers how much they mean to us! Kindergarten Plant Sale

The kinder students will be selling the plants they've grown and cared for from seeds as their Celebration of Learning on Wednesday, May 8. Each plant comes with an original art piece by a kinder student. See the flyer below. Please note, cash only!

Student Ukulele Concert

PPCS families are invited to come see a ukulele performance by kindergarten through 3rd grade students Friday, May 10th, at 8:35. Miss Jodi and the students have been working hard all year focusing on the ukuleles in music class. They are excited to show you what they have learned and to share a morning of music together. Videos of the middle school music class and some individual 4th and 5th grade students will be shown, as well. Contact Miss Jodi at jfisher@palouseprairieschool.org with questions.

Landscaping Tuesdays

Hey PPCS, the sun is out, and your kids aren't the only things growing! The weeds are back, and so are Landscaping Tuesdays. If you feel like lending a hand planting or pulling weeds to improve our beautiful native landscape, come on out. We have supplies, or bring your favorites. Stay for as little or as long as you like. There will be snacks for the kids! Tuesdays 2:30-4 weather permitting.

Are you interested in having Palouse Prairie Native flowers in your yard? The Palouse Prairie Foundation is selling Palouse Prairie Pollinator Plant Kits. See flyer below. Buying a 4P kit is a great way to get acquainted with some of our common Native Palouse Flowers. Don't have a place for a 4P kit? Buy it and donate it to the PPCS landscape CREW! Questions?
